Sell it and get a car thats meant to take boost or keep it and give it to someone whos more responsible enough to take care of it and move on to a boosted well maintained car.Atleast with boost the power never runs out unlike nitrous .

true that!!! how is a boosted car not reliable..its reliable as long as you dont go stupid and put way too much boost on a stock motor.

Its not about how much boost your throwing into the motor . Its plenty of factors like

                        - How much boost
                        - how much can the motor take
-what condition the motor was previously in to take the punishment
                        - the maintenance
                        - depends on the whole setup

Imo having a turbo car eliminates a majority of the hassle involved and simplifies it a little. Parts are slightly easier to come by. It narrows parts to find, aftermarket parts are easier to get.

And the best part of all the motor even though subjected to abuse can more than likely handle the punishment because it was built to handle that kind of pressure. Unlike a motor that wasnt meant for it. Its what counts in the end.

i see what you mean..i o agree that having a turbo car makes it esier but for some of us.. its not really in our price range.. we want something fast though.. so we have to build it from scratch..make the best of what we have...

Its not terribly hard to have a smog legal H22 in Cali. Just food for thought.
