Anyone work at tmobile, verizon, at&t?

My old boss recently left my current job to be a district manager for Verizon...work is scarce right now and I'm noticing that verizon is opening a new store right down the street...I think I might want to get a job there.

Anyone work for a phone company, how is it? Whenever I walk into the tmobile place I always see the sales reps sitting in there, on a computer waiting for customers to come in. Is it as good as it looks? How's the pay?

    I work for Cricket Wireless.
    Job is pretty laid back.
And yes, it is as easy as it looks.

I get $9.5/hour & 20% commission if I sell $400+ in accessories per pay period.

My friend works at a Verizon kiosk at a few malls and works in one store for $8/hr. She barely does a thing.

        really? that's a relief.

did you have to have any "extensive" training?

        what's to working there?

Had to go to 3 days (5 hours each) worth of training in the office, then 2 weeks of training "on the floor".

Honestly, the hardest part of the job is dealing with rude customers.
You will get yelled at, threatened, etc... just part of the job.

          Been here 2.5 years.
