New Forum Area (Technological)?

I've been jumping around on the Off-topic threads for some time now and have noticed a recent surge in tech related problems. Now personally I have no problem answering tech questions (actually I think it's kind of fun, that and it's also my job ) but I think it would be more advantageous to have a seperate area in the forums designated for technological problems instead of dumping them in Off-topic. Now this is purely a suggestion on my part. I'm not saying anything for Deev or any other mods, but rather I'm throwing a new idea out there. Thoughts on something like this happening?

It's one thing to have an Off topic section to just shoot shit about whatever.

There isn't any reason to have a technical section for computer problems on our site. There are 100's of sites out there with a lot of great information on them to solve computer issues. You don't go on the computer technical site and ask to include a section about car tech. You go and join a car site.

Then why do we have a photography section and an animal forum?

Not a bad idea.. i dont mind reading up on tech stuff(Computer.. cellphones..gaming systems..home theater ..etc etc) I would deff be in and out of there..i participate on alot other forums that covers these topics individual.. so having my cars and tech stuff all in one place, is not a bad idea. Just my 2 Cents

if you actually look, there have been a lot of technological threads poppingup as of recently. so yeah.making a section like that would be nice. we have an other automotive, we have a section for animals. both people ask questions and post pics of those things. why not have a section for the geeks(no offense people).


but on the other hand, this site is supposed to mainly about the cb7 chassis and its modifications and OEM parts. not about everything else. i dont think Deev wants this site to become a site for universal things. then the meaning of the site will have lost its meaning.

well a lot of people have animals. and seeing as this site quickly becomes a family atmosphere, some people like to share a personal part of their life.

Kinda like the Hotties thread, guys love hotties. So why not share them?

The hotties thread is in off topic though.....So really your point helps say we shoudnt have an extra forum

Deev recently said that when he gets a little extra time in the near future he'll be introducing a few new sections. Maybe this will be one of them.

I never understood the animal forum either, myself, but it's not my site and it doesn't detract in my enjoyment of the site in any way.

OP - Deev is enforcing sig sizes pretty harshly lately; 300 tall x 800 wide. Some people have lost privileges over it. Just mentioning it since TGP stated you've been gone for a while so you're probably not aware.

The animal forum came about because Fizzbob (ricky duckworth) is really into snakes and stuff.....His regular snake forum turned to shit so he asked Deev if deev could put in a snake sub-forum.....and since ricky has done more for this site than 99% of the ppl on it im sure deev had no problem with it

Im guessing to make it more universal to everyone they changed it from strictly snakes to all animals...becasue I remember comin in here one day and seeing just a snake forum and thinking what the fuck lol

out of all the forums im registered in, cb7tuner is the only place who has an animal section. haha i love it.
