    Wrecked my Mustang, maybe totaled. pics... hide your children

    Left my autobody school today. In class, I installed my Carbon fiber trunk, which I painted YESTERDAY...:mad:

    So this ancient old woman, who has no business driving anymore, looks RIGHT at me while I'm doing 35 in a 35, and pulls out in front of me from Save A Lot grocery. I lock 'em up, and miss her. My friend was behind me in a 5000lbs chevy truck and nailed me at 35 while i was stopped. People are telling me its totalled but we'll see. I have multiple witnesses, so I'm in NO trouble. Got a nice ambulance ride to Winchester because I almost blacked out. My head and neck hurt so bad I screamed for 5 minutes while I was stuck in my car...

    Car won't start, or turn over. But hey, my Steeda SPEED MATTERS license plate frame survived...

      There should be a fuel pump reset button, It should start after its reset.

        I just learned that from the mustang forum I frequent, I hope it's that simple...


        God I just worked so hard for this car, it was my life. And it was in no way shape or form my fault I got hit... It just sucks...

          Well atleast the hood survived. Remember neck and back money in the wallet just like that.

            NOT totaled. If anything IS bent, its not that bad that you couldnt hammer it back out.

              yeah my neck and the back of my head hurt soooo bad. They took x ray's though and everything think looked ok. But damn I'm sore. Going to be worse tomorrow. Ugh I just hope I get it fixed or replaced soon. I love that car so much I worked so hard for so long to have it and now it's gone and I can't even say it was my fault.

                Glad to hear your x-rays looked ok. I was going to ask about that considering the fusion you had done. Does suck to hear the stang got hit but at least it seems repairable so far.

                  Yeah, hopefully I have it back by Feb. 1st. I have an appointment to have my ford racing performance products 3.73 gears installed, and I almost have enough money to piece together an exhaust for it too... That may have to wait now, though.

                    damw man that sucks like i don't think it is totaled . i needs some work but not totaled thats good u weren't hurt bad

                      Sit back relax go for some physical therapy and check into the doctors office often. Your gonna have to get paid for damages to you your car and time lost from work. I say about 10-15k 3-4 months R&R.

                        What that one dude said up there about the fuel pump switch is right. It has an internia ball that when the car is wrecked, the ball releases and breaks the circuit for you fuel pump. That thing isn't totaled at all, as long as the frames straight your good. New bumper, trunk, with a little bit of body work and she'll be better. Good lookin stang though.

                          And this is why the insurance companies give you money for "Pain and Suffering."

                          Yeah having your neck and back hurt a whole hell of a lot now but when it feels better your 4000 dollars are going to be very very sweet.

                          It may not be 4000 dollars, just a number i pulled out. But honestly don't settle for anything less than what you felt you went through. If you feel low balled, just don't settle.

                            Right, if you feel like they are low balling you call a lawyer!!!

                            Glad your ok, and sorry for the stang. Looks fixable to me!!
