Im more concerned about balance which im at right now and im loving at. But 276 hp is well not enough . Maybe back in the day it was but now you got new technology thats out there that puts it all to shame. And its coming from your usual economy cars. The maximas, altimas nissan is really given other market cars hell.
thats fine but nsx's outhandle some Ferrari's and lots of other supercars.

maximas and altimas arent economy cars.

bottom line is the nsx isnt for everyone. If it was they would have sold tons more, that doesnt make it a bad car or value tho.

To some yes to others no. I like seeing them move around though they can turn quite nicely but technology is so rapidly advancing nowadays.

they may be fat pigs but those piggies can sure get to the market alow quicker with little effort. And when you mod them they can be just as disasterous.

isnt that what i was saying? to some yes, to some no?

                  LOL

anyway, technology is reapidly increasing, however the guy who goes to buy an nsx probably isnt looking to go out and beat every car on the street in a race. i think u are missing the point.

Yeah thats cool and all but its hard to say oh youll juet get the nsx and never mod it. Thats like having cash and saying oh im not gonna spend it im just gonna leave it in my wallet or in the bank. Not gonna happen the mod bug is out protect your wallet.

i never said that. all i was saying is the average nsx owner is an enthusiast, and one who hopefully can appreciate the car for what it is. if i had an nsx i would mod the hell out of it, and i wouldnt be upset if tons of cars could beat it.... my goal isnt having the fastest car on the street, my goal is to have an enjoyable car that is responsive and fun to throw around. the maximas u speak of are far from that.

ill say it again, if ur goal is to be the fastest thing on the street... u will fall short and be dissapointed time after time.

I pay $350 every 6 months for my Accord's insurance, and I'm 17, compared to my dad's '06 xA (on payments, he's 41, and has a clean driving record) with $700 or so. Same with a friend with her TSX (also on payments and she's 16)

Anyway, NSXs are Hondas/Acuras. They keep their value, as we can see with other Hondas. Also add the fact that the NSX is all about balance and not horsepower. It did overtake higher horsepowered European supercars on the track (watch Best Motoring vids) and the NSX was the one with the least horsepower.

IMO, I'd buy a S2K to save some hassle. I'd love an NSX, but I'd be afraid to drive it and ruin it. I'd also end up breaking up with my girlfriend and then baby the hell out of the NSX.

Edit- JSpecCB4 is totally right about the ownership of a NSX. Most are enthusiast and appreciate it for what it is, and what it can do. There are more things to worry about a car than making sure it can beat whatever is thrown at it.

shit thats way to expensive on just a 17year old under another persons insurance. Do you have any traffic moving violations by any chance. The s2k is a nice candidate though. The ap2 suspension was better that the ap1 from what ive heard is this true? Yeah ive seen quite a few nsx's on bestmotoring vids they pretty much held their own to a certain extent.

Nobody has any violations. I have full coverage btw.

The AP2's suspension was improved, from what I remember. Most likely it is better. Other than that, the redline in the engine dropped, but more torque was added when horsepower decreased.
