    Headlight mini rant

SO I burned out a bulb the other night. I discovered it because usually when I drive the coupe at night, deputy sheriffs don't turn around to follow me. I was taking snowboarder2153 to some party when it happened. Luckily, someone got between us and when I pulled into a parking lot to see why my light output was sucking so bad he drove on by. It's no big deal, I've got 5 or 6 spares in the garage, but I go home and switch to the minivan to avoid a ticket. Take the kid to his friend's, come home and dig out my spares and every last one of them is for the high beams.

So now I'm looking for new low beams. Something different without going to HIDs.

*edit* - sorry, damn kids distracted me. I meant to ask if anyone has any suggestions for color and/or brand? Besides Silverstars?

Mod the "high beams" you have to fit in the low beam socket... There is a diy on this site

Nokya Cosmic Whites look nice. They run about $24 for a pair on ebay.

I was looking through ebay and saw some things I like. I got a little happy about finding green ones (You never see green on the road, and my undercars are green. I'm allowed a little rice!), until I saw that they were 9006 HID bulbs.
