    lower the ride..

My friend has an ef9 lowed on some coilovers. They're golden and red I think it's a no-name brand but they look decent.I was thinking of buying them off of him since his car is doomed. You guys think they could fit the accord??

I am on EG/EK Skunk2 sleeves now... front springs are fine, back springs are too short. If u've seen pics of my car, the rear coils are at the top perch and there is no finger gap

coil over sleves are univ, so i think as long as you get some adjustable struts you shoudl be fine

but dont do it on stock struts, it will ride like shit

That pic was when I was on the Accord Skunk2 springs....

Tire diameter's the same... looks like the car's about 1" lower in the back now

Pain in the ass. Can't wait to raise it.

Don't get the Civic coils, they will be too short in the rear. I can raise my front another 2" or so.

If you want a little drop, get Neuspeed/H&R sports. If u want more on stock shocks get Tein S-Techs or Sprint springs. U wanna go lower than that, u need adj shocks + race springs/sleeves, or all out full coilovers... there's no other way to do it

I went to a local parts shop and i asked what the lowest recomended drop was. They said to go 1.75 in the rear and 1.5 in the front or vise versa I don't remember but they said any lower than that and I'm riding metal on metat which = no shock absorbing which = shitty ride.

as a matter of fact just when we were discussing it a slammed civic pulled in and the owner of the store asked the guy how the ride was and he said: "oh it's fine" then he asked him how it was when he hit a little bump. He just laughed a bit and said "it feels pretty shitty"

so I've always been a little hessitant on suspension. First time i tried to rop it i fucked up the front left shock which stopped the whole operation I also sweezed the cv joint boot way close to the weel and that slowly went to shit. I had to replace that shit. I still have no drop.

I now have the right equipment to make a drop happen and the coilovers would be cheap and they look brand newish. So I'd just need some shocks and the struts.

and I think I'm set with that

Dont do it, the back springs will be too short... I'm telling u

What are u gonna spend on the shocks... u gotta get AGXs at the minimum, might as well save a little more and get a full suspension
