Avast! is what I use on all of my computers. AVG used to be my recommendation, but now it tries to do too much, and it no longer just a AntiVirus product, it's a whole security suite, which, is unnecessary if you're running a software firewall, and using a router.Comment

after having a few viruses kill my last hardrive i ended up using norton. believe it or not its an awesome anti spyware/malware/spyware tool! it does, howver, have a really shitty firewall. so its best to have good firewall and a good antivirus tool. been good so far!
avast, avg, spybot, etc couldnt remove the viruses. it was horrible. i was in too deep already

Well my laptop came with Norton 2.0 and it ended and im cheap so i didnt wanna upgrade or whatever.

I used to use AVG until a virus got through and wouldnt recognize it even with updated database. Got avast and got rid of it and havent had any problems. It is still free just download and go to there website and register for it.
