Geez, that's quite the cocktail you got there...

I just do my 12oz curls as often as possible. Only problem is that the weights get lighter after every curl

Not trying to start up a riot but I have a few questions

First, I've always been in the gym since freshman year and I've rarely used supplements. Besides the obvious physical size difference, do you all gain much from the things you take? Besides protein that is, I don't consider that a supplement because it is easy enough to get in a regular lifting diet. This would best be answered by someone who has done lifting both with and without supplements. Someone who's taken them from day 1 wouldn't be a good source, as they're going to say it helped because they have no bench mark to compare to.

Secondly, do you all do any other weight exercises? I'm talking about core, legs, ect, not just your average curl/bench session.

Oh yeah, why I lift. In high school it was for wrestling and now that I'm in college I lift for rugby. Pretty big change in the workout routine and I'm still adjusting to it.

The only thing I lift is my penis during pisses and a lighter ripping bongs

And sometimes im too lazy to lift either so I find someone who will help haha

I used to work out alot.....Had a personal trainer and I lost probably 20 pounds of fat and put on about 30 of muscle in like 6 months.....but I then realized that I didnt want to alter my entire life to maintain the physique that I was going for.

I might go back to working out in a few years....but right now my metabolism is high enough to keep me looking like i work out haha

Well I have lifted with out and with. In high school I was off and on depending on testing. along with now in college the NCAA has a giant list of things i cant take. However when ii first started takin creatine in this great stuff called "after max" my numbers shot up. I felt great lifting with recovery time cut in half allowing me to lift more weight and more often. In turn making me stronger. Also my speed was much better. Cutting my 40 down alot. My sr year i was 6'1 245 runnin a 5.1 second 40 lol. Its not just take the shake and get huge like most think. My cuz has takin supps for years and even was a powerlifter. He has takin everything from steroids to Protein. I would highly recommend them. They all have a purpose weather its for recovery, prelift amp, or testosterone booster.

Great exercises are prolly.. bench incline bench, Front squat Back Squat, Clean, Push Press, Snatch, Those are all pretty much core stuff.

                  I lift some.

6'6'' 215 (scrawny right now). Trying to get to 240 now. I'm in my bulking stage i take creatine, protein, and some amino acids. When i'm cutting, i take lipo-6, works wonders for me, and results stay as long as i eat healthy and exercise.

I havent really been lifting heavy, but when i was about 2 years ago when i was 21, I was putting up 285 for bench, doing sets of 8 with the 120 curl bar, and squating about 350.

Alright. I'd heard it really helped with recovery, which as you said, lets you workout more often which lets you get stronger faster. Glad to hear you clarify that.

Interesting to hear you say it helped your speed. Was there one thing in particular that you would say led to to that increase? I'm very interested in that because the position I play in rugby is all about speed.

Yeah, just wanting to make sure you weren't the meatwads that go in and just do bench and curl and then leave like they've had a good workout. You won't be able to reach your max at any one lift without strengthening your entire body. Notice that the best heavy lifters aren't like the guys you see in the gym with huge upper bodies and no legs. They are fully built from head to toe, which is what you need to do big lift.

Yeah, I will admit that with my wrestling routine I had gotten in a bit of a rut. I was very strong in a few areas which were the most important for that sport, but I was weak as far as strong running went.

Now I lift more to be able to run with power. It's not like rugby is a boxing match where arm strength can make or break your performance. Plus, my position isn't one that is called to make big hits on big guys very often.

And oh yeah, just to blow your mind, I'm like 5'5" 130lbs.

damn 5'5 130 didnt expect that lol. Im about 6'1 230 lol Yea I found this product which is very cheap called after max, made by Optimum Nutrition was great for speed and strength. Had a good mix of creatine glutamine and protein. It pretty cheap on DPSnutrition.com. If you can manage to run enough to get rid of the 10lbs of water weight you put on from the creatine it is awesome.

Yea I cant stand the meatheads in the gyms lol Like in my head i see these kids with giant arms twig legs im just laugh. Of course they work out in a beater or under armor lol Its like put some clothes on and do some real weights lol. They sit there grunting throwing up 50lbs Db Military Press, me and my friend just sit there and grab 75lbs and just rep it to make them shut up lol

isnt creatine bad for your body? I always people make fun and hate on creatine users saying its bad and stuff.. anyone care to shed light on the matter?

I use Monster mass whey(used to) when i was at the gym during the summer , 4 months, Not sure if there was a difference, didnt test. The problem i have is that im such a small frame 5'7 140, that i dont think i could put massive amounts of muscle on
