Across a 50ft intersection....
I was coming up on an intersection, light turning yellow not too far ahead. My buddy says "go for it" so i do. i shift into second and punch it. not until i was right there did i realize that there was a steep incline, and a drop right after.
I flew across more than half the intersection, hit the ground about 75% through and was already on the brakes when i landed and i slid close to 50ft to avoid hitting a truck that was stopped down the street.
I quickly pulled into the parking lot of the church/bank thing down the road and got out to check everything.
No lip, caved in downpipe, dented my oil pan, and scraped(possibly bent) my cross member. Don't know if it was just the cross member, but i think i may have shifted part of the frame back a few cm also.
Now i may need a cross member, i need front tires, an alignment, a header set, and i need to check my frame on the driver side.
I have pics of the car, luckily the worst of it is the tires. i don't think the frame is bent, but i know my alignment is off. I may need to take off my oil pan and straighten it because i think the dent in it separated part of the edge enough to cause a VERY subtle leak.
I didn't get pics of the road because i went back with a different vehicle, but i have pics of some of the damage.

Down pipe
Tire. you can easily see the uneven wear from the slide.
and this is my tie rod(i think)
Not sure if it is bent factory like that or if it is damaged at all. i don't think it is, but i figured i would get a second opinion.
Ill get pics of the road tomorrow. tire marks are 50ft long and i saw some gouges in the road.
This baby took her self a beating. i felt sooo bad. i can;t believe i forgot about the big ass dip.
But i grabbed the legend lip that fell off. On a side note, right before this happened, my driver caliper was acting up. and that needs to be replaced as well. pads are wearing uneven.
Ill update this with more pics and more info on damage. should be good as new in a week or so.
