          i think i started seeing a lot after drifting became popular over her in the states. they were originally drifter charms or something like that. but ppl put them on anything now a days. i want a tow hook... no charms though

            hanging stuffed animals is right up there with bike racks, racing tow hooks on a street car, the broken hood mod, spray painted black hoods, and pink wheels. later.

                i don't know about that. i've got a bike rack, but i have it for functional purposes - i actually haul my bike around; and refuse throwing a tarp and taking it apart to put inside the trunk/cabin. i think a majority of us on here with bike racks actually use them for their intended purpose.

                i can't vouch for those who get them strictly for appearance, though.
