patience is a valuable skill in driving long distance. getting stuck in traffic sucks and often there is nothing you can do about it. There is not much worse than getting stuck in traffic on a long drive, but just remember that you'll get there when you get there. it makes the drive so much more relaxing.

Stop at rest areas, even if you don't think you need to go at the moment . Food and drink for the trip, etc. I'm sure it was covered in four pages lol.
As for the car, top off fluids and tire pressures, check hoses and belts, etc. (you should be anyways, but its always nice to do another check before a big drive, just in case and for peace of mind). Grab a quart of oil if the engine uses enough to warrent it. That's about all I do.

Be safe and hope you have a good trip

                holly shit that was awesome
i saw sum pretty neat stuff for the first half of my trip but half way through indiana night fell

the gps directed me through a freakin oil refinery sumwhere in indiana but i saw a really nice DA there lookin all jdm n shizz

i got caught in chicago traffic i used the clutch so much i think i tore the muscle in my left foot

kentucky has sum badass roads man. i was unning downhill for about 20 mins
they even have a runaway truck ramp
the best thing about it is it was twisty (kinda) and i tore it up running with white g35 sedan. that thing was hella fast.. he could pull frm me at 120+mph like i was standin still

so as i mention the g35 i have to tell u the drve would be lame if i was only one speeding. the first car running with me was a mazda mx6, we stayed at 100+mph for over an hour

then this crazy buick lesabre.. he handled these cork screwes in indianapolis like a freakin f1 car

then there was this mazda thing that looked like a hatch.. he tried but meh... we were both passed by an infinty FX(sumthin) this car.. wait SUV.. hauled ass none stop sumtimes i would look down and i was just tiping 130 (downhill of course

he musta have a kick ass radar detector too bcuz as soon as i passed him i got clocked @ 89 in a 70

                          really?

if i had cruise in my truck, i would of used when i drove up to atl.

4 hours there, 4 hours back, alone in my single cab truck.

i had my passenger window open the entire way there, with the music all the way up.

it was nice. it was in the fall, leaves were blowing all over the highway, it was very aesthetically pleasing.

How do you turn cruise on? on my cb7, the cruise light goes on, on the dashboard, but it dosent actually work.
