They will tell you your blood type if you go and give blood. It usually takes a little while but they mail you a blood donor card that has your info and blood type on it. It's up to you if you want to do it. Thanks Mauri

Or is that all wrong? I'll donate if he can have my blood type, but I'm not 0 anything. I think I'm A something...
Ah, he can't use it unless it's O+ or O-. But I'm sure there are others in need as well if you wanted to do a nice thing and donate to help them out. Just pray for them, donate some $, and/or post some good comments on www.showevanyourlove.com

It's on the website, but I figured I'd go ahead and post it here as well too.

          You can send e-cards to:

          cards@showevanyourlove.com

You can send cards through the mail to the PO Box at the top of this thread.

Seriously, anything helps! It doesn't have to be money, but please give if you can!

            NJ members:

My cousin is really working double time trying to get Evans kitchen done so his wife and kids have a place to eat! Evan got his injuries before he could finish the kitchen! If you have a good set of hands and some free time or any knowledge on house renovations at all, PLEASE give my cousin a call (609-760-0926) and stop by to help out! It would be greatly appreciated!

I plan to get up there next weekend (5-7 Dec) and help but there is plenty to do in the meantime! Any little help would be awesome. Even helping take a load of debris to the dump, or just hammering nails, or even helping keep the kids entertained while the work is being done! Anything is good! Thanks in advance to anyone that steps up to the plate and helps!

                  Thank you!

BTW, I sent my cousin to this link and he was just shocked at the support given by strangers. I can't thank you all enough. I hope you realize how much this means to Evan and his family!

You can donate it anywhere in your local area. I'm not trying to force you, but I am pointing out that it is an option.

                              Here's the Facebook event info:
                              http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=39719439780

As most of you are aware, our friend, Evan Goldglantz, was in a horrific fire accident on November 17, 2008. Evan has suffered third degree burns on 92% of his body. Evan remains in critical condition and will require extensive hospital care. Evan's recovery has been a roller coaster for his family... especially his loving wife, Danielle. They appreciate all of the prayers and help that they have been given so far. The Doctor's have advised us that Evan will need approximately 50-100 units of Blood over the course of his recovery. What better way of showing how much you care....by taking a moment to forward this urgent call to all of your friends, family and coworkers. The American Red Cross will be hosting a BLOOD DRIVE IN HONOR OF EVAN at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, NJ on January 6, 2009, from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Because Evan is and will continue to use various blood products; all blood types are needed and welcomed on January 6, 2009. On this day, we are hoping to collect 100 units of blood! Each donation will help to build up the blood supply that Evan so desperately needs and will continue to need throughout his recovery! To give blood you must be 17 years of age or older, 100 lbs or more, and in generally good health!

Please come out and support this amazing effort! Evan and his family and friends will be eternally grateful that you did!

You can schedule an appointment to make the process go a little faster. The website is http://www.membersforlife.org/pennj/...nsorcode=14088.

We hope to see you there. Please continue to keep Evan and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

                              Thank you for your consideration.

Evan specifically needs O+ or O- blood, but ALL blood types are encouraged to stop by and give some blood if you can.

Also, I don't want to pressure anyone into anything, but I know his family could still use help with prayers, money to help cover bills since Evan is obviously not able to work right now, and even physical labor with helping to get their house finished, yard work and that kind of stuff, or even helping to watch the kids or stuff around the house. Anything you are able to offer for help is greatly appreciated.

Prayers go out to Evan ad his family. I wish I was closer, I can't really help in the financial department but I certainly would have came out to help with the kitchen and do some blood work.

I hope all works out for the best!
