    Internet issue

    When ever I go to a website I get a pop up that says connecting to wan mini port . The pages will not load until I hit cancel in the box.

            If you have XP go to the control panel, then go to network connections. You should have a wan mini port in there. You can disable it. If it doesnt let you disable it, delete it. It's not needed - in fact it's annoying. Windows update probably populated the service.

              I've had similar problems in the past. I've worked on computers for people and as soon as you'd connect to the internet *they still use dial-up* some bullshit porn site would pop up, wanting you to connect to their server, as soon as you'd hit cancel, it'd disconnect you from the internet, completely.

              I had to dig thru the temp folder and find the shit that was causing the problem. That seemed to solve the issue

                That was it... I was messing with the settings a couple months ago and never got around to fixing it thanks.
