does anyone know how to fix an xbox360 with the red rings of death

if ur system is still warentied you should be able to send it in and have it repaired or swapped for a new one. happened to my elite not long ago.

When mine red ringed I emailed them, they sent me a box with the packaging and a shipping label and I sent it and got it back about a week later. It didn't cost me a dime and all xbox are covered for the redring.

not if its opened. im buying a used broken one so i cant guarantee that its not opened. i just want to fix it myself.

yea,
step 1: wrap it up and put it back in the box.
step 2: get in ur car with the xbox and drive to the retailer you got it from
step 3: Return it and in exchange get a ps3!!!!!

im looking at a broken xbox. hoping to get it cheap. i heard the red rings of death are fairly simple to fix if you take the system apart. has anyone done it?
