    shipping of tires

So I finally sold my Blizzak (wanted 175, got 375 instead ) but I need to ship them from PA to Utah. Will UPS be able to do that? And should I package them in any way? All help is greatly appreciated.

    Here are the tires: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESO%3AIT

what other company would you propose to use?!

if you don't package them, how would you expect to ship them?!

ups or usps or dhl should be able to do it.
putting it them in a box, or boxes would be nice. i suppose you could slap a sticker on each tire, but it would seem to me that would be asking for trouble- the tires would end up lost, and you'd owe the ebayer some money, unless you had the package insured.

From my experiences I have found that fedex shipping cost is a bit cheaper and they have (from my experience) delivered faster and packages aren't torn to shit.

So, package each one individually in a box, and ship them via FedEx, that's what you're saying?

Just tie the tires up together with straping or lots of tape...no need to box it.

When I order my tires they come via UPS, just strapped together with 4 stips of plastic. Then the invoice paper is taped onto on of the tires.
