exactly or make the ringtones with Goldwave that's what i do!
just with a mp3 that's on your computer! and just load it to your card..and set as ringtone!
if you didn't have the card you could have it transferred by bluetooth..

some phones wont let you use the music on your mem card for ringtones. in those cases, you can use a usb data cable for the phone, and a program called BitPim. I have an LG Chocolate, and this is the case for me.

OR if you computers got the NEW built in bluetooth or if you got a usb bluetooth adapter MADE for your CPU (NOT a bluetooth headset)

yeah... you need the media kit for the Chocolate from Verizon. costs like $25.


use the cd they give you to install your phones drivers (works with XP, wouldn't work on Vista for me, 1st gen chocolate)
then you get BitPim http://www.bitpim.org/ and install it
you can use it to browse every file on the phone (including system files.. DON'T edit these without knowledge of HEX editing)

But yea, you can set wallpapers, ringtones, pics, music, anything. it even has image editing and audio editing built in, so you can crop files to your liking.

no, you need the data cable to use BitPim. no way to make the music on your card act as ringtones. in fact, when BitPim assigns a ringtone, it doesn't even read the audio file from the card. it copies it over to the phone's memory and uses it from there. only way to get this done is with the data cable and BitPim.
