^ yeap, I think this is a pretty old tradition...its part of their food culture; at least they don't cage the whales for life feeding them road kill and then give them a nasty slaughter-> modern industrial animal husbandry.

This picture is so beautiful...I am not condoning the mass slaughter...but there is something about how such an innocent and beautiful setting can bear such carnage.



stuff like this can be very hard to relate...take the Canadian seal hunt for example...those seals are wayy to cute to slaughter...but it happens.
