With people downloading music without paying for it, musicians and labels are going to have to get their money elsewhere. Radio stations, as well as sites like Pandora, are taking that hit.

Limewire is the reason why sites like this are going down. People get the music free, so the record companies have to charge someone. They charge those that broadcast it!
If this happens, Pandora should deal with independent artists. Keep the same concept, but only have bands that aren't on a major label, or at least on small labels. Bands and labels that will allow their music to be played for free just for the exposure. It would work well, I think. I'd listen to it. It'd be awesome to have my band on there, and then hear other bands that sound like us
