But if you did get your truck inspected, its VERY possible that the seller cleaned up the truck, undercarriage, etc. to hide any visible leaks.

That would lead a shop to tell you that there isn't any sign of a leak.

NEXT, and MOST IMPORTANT: IF YOU DID HAVE ANY KIND A LEAK, YOU WENT TO A SHOP , MAN. THEIR JOB, THE JOB OF THE SERVICE MANAGER IS TO SELL JOBSSSSS.

I could see them telling you there was a leak (even if there wasn't one), to sell the job. But telling you there's no leak, if there is one (and potentially losing a repair job), thats not going to happen.

MANY shops in my area (I run a CARQUEST, so I know!) are down 30+% over last year. Believe me, they are desperate to get jobs. If there's a leak, it won't get ignored, and it won't be overlooked.

What you need to be worried about is being sold repairs that you don't need.

Thats all I gotta say, it just doesn't seem possible man.

Now why i am ready to kill someone

a bunch of shit has happened lately.

first off, there is only ONE mechanic shop i bring my car in for repairs.

But, when buying my truck, I took it to get inspected at a local repair shop also "the best in town" by all the rich folk, because they charge thousands and put in a bunch of new parts when all you need is a vacuum line (true story)

My Diesel is leaking from the transfer case, and the transmission.

I payed 12,000 dollars for the truck (2,00 over edmunds), and another 3000 to get everything fixed on it.

Before I bought the truck, I payed 60 dollars at the best local shop in town to get my car inspected.

The fucking piece of shit lowlife scum of the earth rip you off mechanic there is such a piece of shit that he didn't even inspect my car too well because a fucking 16 year old cluess ditzy girl if put under my truck could say "its leaking yucky fluid"

of course i didn't get up under there because i payed 60 dollars for some scumbag to do it. Who obviously didn't. now my tranny is low on fluid, and barely going into gear. I can see the red fluid and brown fluid and black fluid.

Leaking Engine oil, Transfer case oil, And transmission fluid.

This inspection was done less than 4k miles ago. well it wasn't ever done actually.

So Now im really pissed, at the possible and likely damage that this has caused to my truck.

Im going to the shop tomorrow, and im going to raise HELL. Im going to demand my money back for the inspection, and for them to pay for any damages that have incurred because they failed to inspect my truck, which is now costing me money.

If they don't, I will do everything in my power to get the money from them. I will stand in front of the shop with a sign that says "This place is a RIP-OFF, they will SCAM YOU"

As far as the other shop that did the 3000$ job to my truck. Well, I had brought it in covered from head to toe in mud. So for them to see any leaks, was almost impossible. A couple days ago, I pressure washed the underside of my truck, Now every leak is visible, of course when i brought it in to be inspected, there was no mud, and any leak was HIGHLY VISIBLE.

3 major leaks dont start in under 4k miles.

If I can't get money from them, I will call my insurance company, and tell them that as a result from recent the crash, and my frame being bent, the driveshaft was hit, and it caused the transmission to leak fluid. I can prove that my truck was not leaking fluid, by showing them the inspection from 3.7k miles ago.

I Have a body shop that will back me up on this as well.

That shop has played me and my family since i was a kid, I stopped taking anything to them 3 years ago because they charge so much and they are supposed to be "the best in town" I tell everyone not to go there except for tires, because they have the "best prices on tires" (they do)

Today the people at Autozone were extremely rude to me.

Get this - IF you buy something at Autozone, and (if they actually) they ask for your rewards card, and you say "I Can't Find it"

They will say, Its ok, give me your phone number, and I can put the purchase towards your 20.00 $ rebate. (5 purchases of 20 or more gigves you a 20$ rebate)

Now when it comes time to get your rebate, You MUST HAVE THE CARD. if not you cannot get your rebate.

So they can put it on your phone number, when you say you have LOST THE CARD, but you cannot redeem it.

SO by doing this, they fuck you. This system is obviously wrong and false, And You cannot get another card if you have one, and if you lost it, and your phone number is on it, you cannot legally use your phone number on a new card.

So they fuck you that way. Well somehow I had 2 cards on my phone number, and they would not let me get the points off of 2 of them, they said that one is invalid, and they threatened to call the sheriff and have me arrested for fraud.

yeah, what the fuck.

So I call Autozone's reward card number to complain, They end up giving me the card number which I took inside and tried to use on a purchase, WHICH DIDN'T WORK BECAUSE YOU MUST HAVE THE CARD. And when i do I tell them that they gave me a second card and I wanted to keep my points on it, because I am Legally Entitled to them, and i wasn't the one who gave me a second card. The guy tells me that He was being nice, but if im going to try and be smart with him, that hes going to cancel it. and i tell him thats not fair, i earned it. He says "Now Im going to take both cards away, because you are getting an attitude with me, i was being nice by giving you the card number, but if your going to try and play us like that then Im going to take them both away"

Its night, The road ends 500 feet from the exit of advance autoparts, a car turning onto the road would be at the entrance as soon as you "looked left, then looked right"

Coming RIGHT at me is a little Flat black 1989 toyota camry, DRIVING WITHOUT HEADLIGHTS, IN A FLAT BLACK CAR.

I Floor it and fishtail around him nearly missing him and crushing his car.

I think WTF what an idiot, he almost got killed, I wanted to make sure that the person 1 turned on there lights, and 2 was OK.

I stopped and waited, the car turned around and came back.

I got out, and this big black/spanish guy gets out.

ME: "hey I got out to tell you -
HIM: " YOU GOT OUT SO I COULD HIT YOU IN THE FUCKING FACE RIGHT? DO YOU NOT STOP AT STOP SIGNS??

He slams me against my truck

He looks at his headlights, lets go of me, and says "YOU COULD WRECKED MY CAR" I tell him "Im sorry, i stopped to apologize and tell you your headlights were off
