That's not the case with everyone. I do workout every other day... well, usually. I cut back when I got sick, and I'm just now restarting my routine.

I don't go to a gym yet, but I will be soon.

bad food is bad food, working out doesn't change that; throughout the last three years, I have lost about 40lbs by just eating good food, I rarely workout.

        Surveyed Facts:

        1900:
North American person vegetable consumption: 300lbs grains/year 200lb

        Today:
        Vegetable consumption down by 50%
        milk consumption up 200%
        beef consumption up 150%
        chicken consumption up 280%

today's average North American person in their lifetime will eat:
        15 cows
        24 hogs
        12 sheep
        900 chicken
        1000lbs of other assorted animals

I lost 50lbs by eating better, walking regularly, and drinking lots of water.

The fast food garbage is going to undo that quickly though!

How much does 10lbs translate to consumption? How long does that last you?

Well my other 6 pound whey bag (sam's club cheap whey) lasted 2 months.

But I usually take 2 shakes a day on workout days and 1 shake on non-workout days. At the moment, Im tryin to lose more bodyfat so Im mixing with water, not milk. Somedays I get sick of water and do half water and half milk.

The serving size on these 5lbs, 70 servings.

I usually add a full cup of whey to each shake.

                        Nope

Having a healthy mind and body requires getting plenty of exercise, maintaining healthy eating habits, and getting an appropriate about of rest. Slacking in even one area and turning it up in another will not make up the difference, and you will be able to tell the difference.

Good luck man. How about a before and after pic.

Don't forget to buy a couple of small cotton shirts. Wear them in places that will have a high female attendance, than it's show time. Flex the pecks so that the shirt rips off. You'll be beating em off with a stick! =p

Yeah, I've been hooked on Monster energy drinks myself... that's tough to kick. Not only the effects (which I don't even feel anymore), but the taste. i love those damn things!

I've gone from Large to Medium shirts.

                              Before:
Summer 07 - 220lbs, maybe more. 230 was my heaviest.

                              April 08 - about 195-200.

                              September 08 - About 185lbs.

I weighed in at 179 last week. Losing weight is becoming less important now, and building muscle is my primary goal. If I lose too much weight and build no muscle, I'll just be scrawny!
