JDM and NYC Don't Mix

Well as many of you know my JDM headlight was side swiped and cracked my headlight. I was really mad about the whole thing since it was 90- 91 accord headlights with the chrome on it. I took the loss and got me a another set but the 92- 93 without the chrome. yesterday while seein the game my car was parked and I go to get something and what do i see? the same side headlight cracked up Now I uderstand why the USDM headlights come with 2 pieces. Theres to many dum fucks here in the states.

I will never buy another set again. Same goes for my PFM. people open them to look at there ugly faces Someone did it and broke the mirror as well. I wish I would have cought them

yea man I feel like I spent that mony for nothing. The first set lasted me since 06 and I paid ($230).

The 2nd set not even 2 weeks it lasted me and it cost me ($170)

I have someeone that has the side I need and will jump on that just to fix it up. the crack is not as bad as the first set. Can get away with in in photo shots but it still a crack.

The mirror is being held with one screw so if someone leans on it its gone

Depends where u live. My car looks like shit and I am in what I think is a pretty safe neighborhood, and they don't mess with my car. A lot of cars get sideswiped and totalled though.

Sorry about your damages though man that really sucks. You buy street dreams' headlights? Maybe you can put on a new glass from some fucked up Ebay headlights.

Its probably jealousy in your area it happens. I honestly would park it where you can see it. because if you park it in a area which has heavy construction,trucks and shit like that or in a area where theres the morning rush your car may well get damaged,

btw I didnt know the PFMs break if opened manually

mine never broke, they were breakaways. if you were to push in them in the wrong way they would break like any other mirror

sucks man. at least this wasnt a few years ago when JDM was new. a set wouldve cost you like 300ish

Man, People in the NYC dont respect cars, especially when they are parked on the street. They back up into your ride since they cant parallel park and tear up your pride and joy. I have friends and family in Brooklyn and Queens but I doubt if I take my CB up there, especially after I lower it. Those potholes aint no joke up there...

i live in nyc also. and ive been through 2 headlight sets also but because of accidents.
i still have the driverside 9091 with the chrome trim. which one do u need?

i hate living in the city!
