I've never seen a swapped one myself. I'm surprised it isn't more popular. I guess because they only come auto. That looks like one hell of a job! $9500 is pricey, but I'd say it's worth it for that car. That's gone well beyond simply being a project car. That looks like a very clean install.

I wonder how long the transmission will last. He's done some things to safeguard it, but it's still fairly stock from the sounds of it. It's not putting down an obscene amount of power, but still considerably more than stock. Driven with care, it'll probably be fine. If it's beaten on, it'll die.

Yeah the way any of us would drive that beast, that trans might have 2 months in it.

I'm pretty sure I saw a IS300 with a 2jz that was 6 speed... I want to say it was on Mischief Dynasty 5... They showed it making a dyno run... Pretty impressive. If I recall, it was running 40 psi of boost... let me see if I can dig up something else on that...

there is a guy close to me ive hung out with that has a es300 swapped with a 3jz twin turbo. its sick...you hear his blow off from 2 blocks away haha

theres 3 of these cars in my work parking lot, not sure what department they work in...but theres 3 of em...only ones lowerd with rims...other 2 are stock.
