and yeah tool fans can tend to be somewhat self righteous or self proclaimed music gurus because they are fans of such an articulate band, and we like to brague about how "the kinna songs i like aren't shitty 3 minute long songs....that's a fucking intro to a tool song, i like epics, people who can't handle that have short attention spans" blah blah blah....and how we claim to understaind all their lyrics and meanings and shit.
yeah us tool fans can be music snobs because the band is so damn elite and talented.

and live...by boring, i guess if you expect pyro shows and jumping into the crowd and moshing. tool is the kind of show you experience and just watch in awe. it's not fucking NOFX or some 80's hair metal band with indoor fireworks. <there's my elitest-tool-fan comment of the topic for ya.

I'm gonna have to agree with this. Pretty much every person that I've ever seen with their logo bumper sticker or t-shirt has been a dumbass, and was usually wearing something else related to ICP(I think that's what the "guy with butcher cleaver" logo means). i love jerk off live and cold and ugly live off opiate, suite as well. stinkfist, jimmy, 46 and 2 is amazing. pushit is good....but the 14 minute live version of pushit off the salival CD is way better. the grudge, the patient, ticks and leaches, lateralus are a bunch of my favs. undertow is probably my most neglected album of theirs. some really good songs, but i always pick another one to listen to over it.Comment
