Eh, turbo engines don't need to be high revving engines. You can have plenty of success with a 7k redline. Longer gears are better to stay in boost, IMO.

I respect all fast cb7s wether they are h or f. But i dont understand why accord sirs cb7 would be slower than midnites. Im in school right now so i cant watch the video again, but i think that carlos shifted quite early.

good point.. but my point was to the health and full use of the H22a tranny.. a motor that can rev more can make more use of it.. without sacrificing D/D unlike a 2.2L F with the H tranny.. i didnt mean it as.. u need high revving engine to boost.. that would defeat my belief in the F22a.. now wouldnt it? LMAO.. i mean antoines peak power is at like 5,500-6k.. no need to go over that..

i meant t3/t4 at 4k.. as in he wouldnt have issues.. with the H tranny.. hes fully spooled before redline.. a shorter gear'd tranny will just get him there quicker.. is all.. the motor is still being "revved" and its pushing exhaust gases out.. so its just happening at a quicker pace.

Accord SiR wasn't even gettin on it in that video... that was probably like 1/2 throttle. i mean, you'd have to ask him... but i know he wasn't smashin it or anything. he was also at only 9 psi that day... he dyno'ed at like 20 psi it's also true that he was having some issues, as deevergote mentioned.

there shouldn't be any argument here at all between these two motors. you guys are all forgetting the BIG PICTURE here... that we ALL drive the same freakin car LOL. so whoever wants to use whatever engine... what in the HELL does it matter? that's just personal preference. but it's still a 4th gen accord and we're still all enthusiasts in the same group.

agreed... but as u said.. he was doing 9ps.. antoine was doing 8.. so for having almost the SAME psi.. why does the F-T seem faster/quicker.. eh.. he needs to post! lmao but i agree entirely.. it was all good criticism until someone had to ruin it with his H godlyness

wiat a minute isnt with 9psi on a smaller turbo gonna work more effectively for what he was tuning for as far as off the line power to midrange when the t3/t4 works better at mid to highrange for long highway distances as with the 14b would stop pullin at?

what does a 14b have anything to do with this?

okay lemme say it slower for ya if you dont understand so be it. Hes using a smaller turbo than sir correct. Now if r33 was using a smaller turbo wouldnt the lag play a good roll from him being fast or not when sir's lag is over then its over for the 14 b in the long run.

both are using a T3/T4.. and i believe the specs are very close in range.. so no.. antoine isnt using a smaller turbo than SiR.... no one is talking about r33 with his 14b..

Proof that we went down to meet Carlos on the day that there was a meet at Race Rock. We were just a little late after we left Carlos' house.

I think the main reason why he said accord sir's car seems slower is because hes never ridden inside it b4 so you know the deal about the h22-t
