Checking in again from school.. everything is alright.. lol..

update on my car....

on my way back from the movies.. i was playing catch with my friends lazer n/a just messing around.. but she has o-pass so she didnt have to wait in line to pay the toll.. she said clearly over the phone that i woulnt be able to catch up to her.. lol what a laugh..

so.. i did.. doing about 110mph-115mph.. i caught up.. but when i finally came down to a stop after we got off the turnpike.. i realized.. my idle was irratic.. more than normal.. usually its just the fuckin idle screw undoing its way out.. (antoines witness to this happening) but apparently it came out COMPLETELY.. i have no idle screw anymore...

pros.. nice vacumm leak
nice swooshy sound when im at 5-10% throttle..

cons- irratic idle....

hp gain 15hp

so yeah.. thats the latest.. anybody wouldnt happen to have a spare idle screw!!!!

im gonna hit the junkyard today after school but.. would rather get it from someone.. bleh damn this car.. lol

and about h22-T.. (just to keep my thread nice and flameable)

i watched cb7tuner meet 3 vid.. and replayed over and over and over again.. when the turbo'd H did its 2 gear pull.. 1st and 2nd..

and um....

its not as fast as antoines.. and i believe that h22-t is at a higher psi..

not trying to really start shit.. but i drove the damn thing myself.. by the time 1st gear was done.. i had already hit 6k in a split second and had to lay off the throttle and shift.. rapidly..

then again.. that h22-t is built so.. with higher psi.. no contest..

Yeah, SiR is turbocharged... it's a hell of a job too, and he did it himself. He's putting down about 400hp, though in that vid he was severely detuned. He wasn't running the MSD ignition system, and he was having problems with the spark plugs I think. He was making no more than 300hp there, and the engine was suffering from heat soak terribly by the time he started giving rides.

I'm not sure where traction really becomes an issue, so the F22-t and the H22-t could actually be on equal ground with that issue in effect.


At 8psi, Antoine can't be making more than 220hp at the crank... even that is pushing it. Still, on mild boost and a street tune, he's putting out more power than an H22, and he probably spent less.

regardless..the h22-t just seemed slow in that vid.. i know there were problems and it WAS detuned.. but my point it.. antoines 8psi'd f22 was more solid/quicker than his 3xxhp h22-t.. just because antoines car is tuned like a bat outta hell..

in comparison.. from that video.. to me driving the f22-t.. the f22-t seems alot smoother/quicker.. bleh.. antoines not satisfied.. thou.. so yeah.. more tuning left even thou the shit is pushing flat 11.8s-12.2s for a/f bleh..
