Depending on how they did it, it's possible. They may have processed his order when they had one in stock in a warehouse near him. I don't believe he got a delayed shipping notice either.

Luke got a confirmation and they had dry kits in stock when he ordered. I think npor is just stirring up dissent.
In the business world, it's first come first served. Someone else should have gotten his kit (if he did get one) because it would have been marked to be transferred out to fill one of the orders that were placed hours before his was. If not, I think a good lawyer could make a case out of it.

Just close this thread since this was never avaible and NOONE will get a kid.
Dummys
And you're an asshat. It was available, your failure to obtain one or to read and believe the facts do not make it any less true. Whether or not anyone gets a kit is dependent on in-stock availability, not you ability to call us names to make yourself feel better.
So fuck off.
*edit* - and I've thought your sig was *** for a long time. It shows an immature attitude towards women and an inflated ego that I'm sure is very well undeserved. And before you try to insult my intelligence by saying I just don't understand it, I do, and that's not a screw, it's a slot head bolt. Screws have pointed tips, not blunt tips.Last edited by visualpoet; 10-09-2008, 10:57 AM.

no it was not it was an error in the system. I called them and spoke with 2 people 2 separate times of calling.
Noone will get one, end of story, If someone did, prove or call yourself they will tell you there was an error and they are refunding people.
Sheesh!

A bolt is a type of screw.. I think pretty much everyone learns this in second grade.. I think you may of missed that class. Simple machines
I hate to link wikipedia but im too lazy to search for something better
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screw_(simple_machine)
A screw is one of the six simple machines. All screws are helical inclined planes. A screw can convert a rotational force (torque) to a linear force and vice versa. The ratio of threading determines the mechanical advantage of the machine. More threading increases the mechanical advantage. A rough comparison of mechanical advantage can be done by taking the circumference of the shaft of the screw and divide by the distance between the threads.
A screw is a shaft with a helical groove or thread formed on its surface and provision at one end to turn the screw. Its main uses are as a threaded fastener used to hold objects together, and as a simple machine used to translate torque into linear force. It can also be defined as an inclined plane wrapped around a shaft.
Screws come in a variety of shapes and sizes for different purposes.

ASME B18.2.1 defines a bolt as "an externally threaded fastener designed for insertion through the holes in assembled parts, and is normally intended to be tightened or released by torquing a nut."
And since the item in question clearly has a flat, non-tapered tip on it. it's a bolt.
