is that a typical price of painting and installing the sideskirts? sounds cheap to me.

^^yeah...that is the first thing I thought while reading that posting: that should have been a red flag.

But, OMFG...that is really pathetic. I don't know why this story didn't include police cars or ambulances, because mine would certainly have.

I'm scared to death of body shops, because even when they do good work, it's usually pretty bad. I've never seen body work that meets my standards.

Actually...LOL, Fatman88's accord is the best repaint I've ever seen!...Even looks like OEM

Deserves to be sued for damages. Personally, I think the garage should have to buy the car off of him along with all of the work hours, etc.

            As stated, I'd definitely sue.
I would take him to court and have him buy me a new car.
He can keep the 350z that he made look like shit.

That's beyond fucked up. I went to a bodyshop once and they quoted me $2700. That's to fix all dents, paint etc. But for $250, I guess that's what happens when you cheap out. You get what you pay for.

LOLLLZ....Know what's really funny? People in that thread are recommending the BBB, and unless I'm mistaken they are only gonna recommend him to take it back and give the guy a chance to fix his errors...

Yeah the guy got ripped off but seriously, he should've suspected something fishy when the guy kept stalling. Would you drop off your Z if the guy doing the work kept bullshitting you?

That's why when you request something like that, you must make sure you're there to supervise the job. When I got my car painted, it was for a really good price since the bodyman is a good friend of my dad, I was there to supervise and to help out as much as I could. There are a very few diminishes that you can't really see unless you know it's there. Overall, it looks very good. I'm pretty satisfied.

Wow! He kept his cool. If that was me, believe you me, I would of had a brand new car, or he would have paid for the job to get done correctly and a rental car while I had to wait. I would of had a fresh bumper, new kit, and... you get my point. I'm serious. My condolences out to that Z and the owner.

X2,000...I can't say enough about that. This is the optimal situation, an open door policy at the shop.

But, LOL $250...? I would have done a 6th gear burn out to get outta there!
