I hope you get flamed for that. Clearly I choose to streetrace and I know the consequences, if you were to ask me if I'd do it again... The answer would be yes, only I'd be driving or someone with the balls to dip would be driving.

Who said I was mad at them? The only reason for me to be mad at them were the threats they were yelling at me and the fact they pulled me out of my car. I don't like police period. But then again I am mad a police from the past, I'm a ruthless child.Originally posted by deevergoteI'd eat a baby for free. I'm hungry, dammit!

Definitely get a lawyer and tell them that its his fault not yours. You may still have to pay a fee to get your car out of jail and let your boy fit the bill since it was his decision.
So if I were to loan someone my car and they went street racing or did anything else illegal I should get my car back for just a fee? Even if I was sitting in the passengers seat? Depending on the crime the person sitting in the passengers seat, ESPECIALLY if the car is the property of the passenger, then the passenger could be seen as an accomplice. Most people with a modified car (that I know of anyway) don't let just anyone drive their car even if it is just to run to the gas station for a pack of smokes or to get to school.
Both parties involved are guilty of attending an illegal street race. More and more jurisdictions are starting to crack down on street racing and are getting tougher and tougher when it comes to what they will do to attempt to put an end to it.

Fr0z3N, usually stating "Fuck the Police" leads one to believe that you are mad or upset with the Police. Maybe that is just me though. I cant think of any other circumstances for "fuck the Police" unless you are mad or upset with their actions.Last edited by MadSpleen85; 09-19-2008, 01:54 AM.

Be greatful they only pulled you out the car and yelled at you. Be greatful they didnt beat you to death or killed you and claim it was just an accident of blame that someone else did it.
Thats the kind of shit that goes on that noone hears about. Do yourself a favor after hours leave the scene stay home, stay out of trouble its just not worth it.

Sackingz I have to agree with you on this one. The vehicle being clearly modified is one that gets an officers attention. Not only that, it was in some form involved in a street race.

But if you have a reasonable cause that it wasnt totally your fault they would look away slightly but only if you pay the amount or more. Most of the law shits and giggle buildings out here just wanna get paid. Its all about the MONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY! well out here anyways. Along with certain lawyers who may have people on the inside to get you off the hook ofcourse.Last edited by h22sparkle; 09-19-2008, 02:04 AM.

The OP should be grateful that it was only his car that was impounded and he did not land himself in cuffs.
How come everytime there is mention of someones car being impounded for being involved in an ILLEGAL act someone has to throw Police brutality into the mix? These Officers did their job, they took a vehicle that was involved in an illegal act off of the road.
And yeah no one EVER hears of Police brutality. If only you knew the technology that many Police vehicles are equipped with anymore. In my jurisditcion the dispatcher can plot every Police cruiser's location, speed, and whether or not the overhead or any other lights are on. If a Police Officer shines his/her spotlight to check a car and does not notify the dispatcher, the dispatcher will check on that officer to make sure that he/she does not need assistance. Not to mention Dash cams and the growing interest in larger departments for a small camera on the Officer's uniform, along with the already present body mic.

Honda inspired drivers actually brung it to another level where its caused a great deal of attention. Police brutality go hand and hand.
