    I feel dumb..

....but this oil filter has my beat. i tried my hands first. no luck. then a pair of channel lock pliers, just slipped around.
i got a bit mad and used the screw driver method. it will go clock wise a tiny bit but not counter clock wise which should unscrew.
then i laid on my back, trying to will it to unscrew for 10mins.

as always when u have problems of any kind at 1am, next a trip to walmart.

got a oil filter cap wrench. dumb thing just slips around the end.

ok ideas? im suppose to go on a lil trip thats 2hrs away tomorrow

yea mine took alot of huffing and puffing....and cursing. mine an a1, the way i did was put a wrench on the connecting lines nut and had so that the handle of ithis the wall of the carrage so that when i turned the filter the lines would stay still and not move, and a shit load of tugging...

I usualy tell people to do oil changes theirselves, but maybe it is best for some to take it somewhere to get it done. I don't know how the threads could be messed up, but even if they are, more force should be all you need to get it loose. Make sure you're turning it the right way.

x2 the cap wrenches suck hella. The real filter wrenches are way better, just get the right size one.
