well at least I supported them when I bought my EVO2 Catback exhaust system way back in the summer of 2004

But yeah, the quality is definitely there, unlike the knockoff brands. Megan Racing and OBX are pretty much the same as DC Sports. Now, everyone knows that I'm not a huge fan of DC Sports. However, the quality and workmanship is far superior in the DC Sports headers over the Megan and OBX copies.
You can copy the design easily enough, but the knockoff copy companies can offer a lower price because they use inferior materials and less skilled labor (or cheaper machines).
Greddy just opened a facility here in NJ fairly recently. I was considering applying for a job there! It's about an hour from me, though... so it wouldn't really be practical. I have no skills that would get me in at a pay rate worth the commute. I wonder if it's still operational, since it was their secondary facility?

Why couldn't they just have carried the Trust name to the US? I like that better!
I really hope Trust can pull something off without their prices skyrocketing.

Not to be a huge hater but Greddy is going under cause they're not competitive
Consumers are smarter and want more for their money, and companies like Tanabe/Greddy/HKS don't deliver against the likes of RMF, Bisimoto, Skunk2 etc.
People do research & get info before they buy... having a name doesn't mean much anymore.
and a smarter consumer would research and wait for a bisi header design replica for cheaper right?
RMF, Bisimoto, skunk2 are NAMES.

Having dealt with many of these products first hand, instead of talking about it on the internet, I can tell you that most of the more expensive products are worth it for the sound, quality, and durability.
Companies like Bisi etc are good companies and they make great products, but let's face it, they are boutique companies that offer a narrow range of products for a narrow range of cars. Companies like Greedy still provide good value because they offer a little bit for a lot of cars. Also, there is quite a difference between a $400 dollar header and an $800 one.

Since I 'moved' to Toyota, I have tried to support the larger names of the game. Replica parts may look the same, but they will not out-perform and out-last an original product. The tuning industry as a whole is heading in the wrong direction. The sad truth of the matter is people will not realise they are destroying it until its gone.Last edited by GHOST 2.2; 09-12-2008, 12:46 AM.

^Guaranteed to leak or your money back!
I bought a 4" Trust Power Evolution exhaust system a while back. My only complaint is that the system wasnt close enough to the car, so it got smashed by the ground a lot.
Im pretty sure if it was a lesser product, it would have simply fell off the car after one or two bumps in the road later. Instead, its still there, leak free. Just a little less diameter in one spot
