I used to be a HUGE Metallica fan... but then James went all country after Load, and I just didn't feel it anymore. Load was good, but I saw them on tour for the first time while supporting that album, and he had that country twang thing going on in every song, even the old ones... turned me off

I was introduced to Metallica about 12 years ago or so. It was mainly RTL, Load, ReLoad, MoP, Black...not too much Justice though.

Ive always defended them as backed them and liked all their stuff. Even when they cut their hair, i was still for em. But when Lars started being a tool and Jason left, i just kinda lost track.

Kinda like Korn and Limp Bizkit. They were good or decent in their hayday, but when Jon started to go to rehab and Head left, i got out of Korn. After New/Old Songs and Wes left LB, i did the same. IVe kinda broken even though. Blacklight Burns is alright, but i cant get behind Head for anything.



Jason left, and they got old and yeah...it just......"faded to black".

dude i love every single album that metallica ever put out. i mean seriously... no matter what band u like or dont like they always have atleast 1 song u like. hell i fuckin hate country music but u cant tell me that songs like "east bound and down" from jerry reed aint the shit.

After listening to their song they released from the new album, I can see their direction. Something new with a twist of old school hardcore Metallica.
I cant wait till the CD hit the shops on friday
And I can't wait till I can start playing some of the new stuff on guitar
