    ps3 and xbox owners

    I recently bought a 320gb hdd for my ps3, because the 250gb apple one I bought was 1/4" too thick. So I bought an enclosure for it, only to find out that I could only format it in FAT32 inorder for the PS3 to read it, and I also found out the xbox could only read FAT32 also, and if anyone doesn't know you can only format 32gb into FAT32, so I went hunting and found a way to format much more but it still has a max of 137gb which is plenty for me since I'll only be using the apple hdd for backing up my ps3 anyways here you guys go

    woah man could you retype all that using periods and commas?

    all i understood was 320 and something about trying to fit the H22 in your PS3....

      those FAT32 limits are windows artifacts. I have a 500GB FAT32 drive, i believe the real limit is 2TB

      If you format it with linux, the only limits are that no single file can exceed 4GB.

        no its acctually 8TB lol i was like WOW, and how did you get 500gb, did you use linux to do it?

                    its pre formatted, i originally bought the 250gig to put in my ps3 and it was formatted for a mac so i had to reformat it to use it as an external hdd

                      i've only got 40gb on my ps3

                      but i'd be happy with 80 or so...

                      anyone upgrades a ps3 one and has a 80 gb one give me your
                      80 gig haha =)
