i had a cb7 wagaon come into the shop today with 308,543...... it was getting its third t-belt water pump overhaul



imy jaw droped when i drove it up on my rack ..... i never thought id see 300k+ on a car let alone a cb



and i know some one is going to say pic or ban but my cell dosnt have a camera and i dont carry around my digi

There's some with more than that. CBs will run forever as long as they're well maintained and there are parts available.

Some people see no need to get a different car when the one they have now is running just fine. I take it that you didn't see the articles on the guy that drove his Accord over 1,000,000 miles?

i saw the one that the guy didn't change his k&n for a million miles i have heard the one about the accord

I know some average joes that take better care of their car than most enthusiasts. Most of the people on this forum would rather slap on mods than perform proper maintenance.

MARYSVILLE, Ohio -- Gordon Bearrs of Ottawa, Kan., figures he's spent $70,000 in gasoline, maintenance and repairs on his Honda Accord.

But he says it was still cheaper than buying a new one. He's got 1 million miles on the car -- and counting.

Bearss and his Accord were guests of honor Sunday at the 20th anniversary of a Honda assembly plant in Marysville. He was also at the plant a decade ago for the 10th anniversary and was given the car for free -- as a reward for putting 615,000 miles on his previous Accord.


The 48-year-old Kansan drives up to 750 miles a day for his job as a document courier.

and i had a toyota p/u with 298k on it before i made a great choice and traded it for my CB

my old accord lasted me up to 322,000 miles and the car was set on fire!

that said they can last forever.

i remme in the beginners section one guy there said that his dad had a 86 accord and lived in kansas city and he went over a million milles and honda gave him a new accord.
dunno thats true or not...
