Here is the deal. I am a junior taking pre cal, and spanish 3, and I have one work period.

In another district I wouldnt need to take pre cal, or spanish 3. I could have more work periods. Or possibly take senior classes: english 4, and government and economics. Meaning I could graduate early.

So I was talking to my parents about it and they want to think about it, and I know they are leaning towards saying no. One reason is because they think I want to go just to be with my girl. The second well, the schools academics arn't as good. But I will be going to community college afterwards to get my basics done. Then go onto a tech school of some kind.

What do you guys think I could do to convince my parents of letting me transfer and possibly having half days this year and next year. Or even graduating this year?

Well, where I'm from at least, you must have a log showing that you were in fact working during your work period. So if that's the same where you are, you might inform them that you HAVE to be at work, not out with your girl.

Get as highly educated right now while you can. Taking shortcuts wont benefit you down the road.

No its my parents im trying to convince. I already have a job though.

And im not learning anything in the classes im in now, the teachers are fresh out of college and have no clue how to teach, let alone handle the class.

I was acctualy thinking of graduating early and starting college.

That was another thing I was thinking about.

But the school I want to go to has acctual college classes for those people who have outs. Were as my current school only has dual credit. Were you get your high school credit and like 12 hours of college credit.

But the other school I could take my regular classes and take acctual college courses at the community college for free.

Option 1: Stay at my current school
Pros:
Take pre cal and learn a little bit more
Cons:
Take another year of spanish were I wont learn crap like all the other 3 years.
Wont have as many outs

Option 2:
Pros:
Have multiple outs and take college coarses or graduate early and start college early.
And see my girl more often as well
Cons: My other classes may not be as well taught as the oes I have now, but that is only in a biast oppinion.
