Wtf. Fired From Work

AFTER 10 YEARS OF 90+ HRS/WEEK My employer fired me today with no explanation,just said my services are no longer needed,what the fuck. I have never been written up,missed time hell never been late,I actually started today at 3am. I've been giving everyone qualification test all week, even helped him and other salesmen estimate jobs now this

I was fired from a job once after having the company bought out, the new owner talked to me for three months about what I fetl could be done to improve profits and expand business, then when I had given him all the ideas I'd been trying to get the old owner to implement, he called me into his office, reamed me for not having some clients design work done (My computer had crashed and I'd been trying to get him to get it repaired for two weeks, so I could finish those jobs), told me he'd had complaints about my personal hygiene. (I was fastidious about my hygiene, the old owner always had some funk going on, he ate a lot of garlic, used one of those deodorant rocks and didn't like AC. I was usually the best smelling thing in the office and had been complimented by clients several times on how nice I smelled) and fired me. One of my coworkers told me that the next day there was a hot chick nd a brand new top of the line Mac at my desk.

well, being a welder, you should be able to pick up another job anywhere in the country, aside from that, i know it's probably fucking with your head pretty bad right now. sadly, it's all to common nowadys. later.

over 90 hours a week. At least $20 an hour. Hes paying you over 100k with all that ot. Would not make any sense to have someone working all that ot.

50 hrs of ot = $900
total week = $2700
Yearly pay = $140400


10 an hour

90 x 10 = $900
50 hours of ot = $450

So unless you are getting total raped on hourly pay rate or you make about 150k and live in a mobile home and have a 15+ year accord sorry I have to pull the

i think your getting a little to personal. most welders i know work long days. later.

no one is allowed to fire you without reason. go to human resources if its a company... unless you worked with cash money.....

if you still do not get an answer to why you have been fired, i would suggest you go to the labor union in you county and they will direct you into what to do next.

To the guys bashing him saying he doesn't make that kind of money...if you're in a union, yea you make that kind of money, especially with how long he has been at it. Just because you have that money doesn't mean you need to buy a motherfucking mansion or expensive car. Get the fuck over it.

Also, that doesn't mean he's pulling 90 hours a week EVERY week. Especially for the last 10 years. Just because he's at a job for 10 years, doesn't mean he was always getting paid that $20+ an hour. Everybody wants to yap and call BS on shit without even thinking.

in some states, they don't have to give a reason (states like GA for example). however, they usually do tell you something. later.
