Pulling in and out of plazas/driveways

Yeah, i know that many of you who have lowered cars have to get all the way to one side so and come in or out of plazas/driveways just so you avoid scratching your bumper/lip.

Well, i was comming out of the bank today and i got all the way onto the left side and came out at an angle, and this asian dude in the mini van is trying to get into the plaza, so he stops for me. Right as im about to get out, he drives in front and blocks me, then points at me and starts saying some crap, which i couldn't hear because his windows were up. And he proceeds to pull over at the sidewalk like 10 feet away.

Now im thinking, "wtf? fuck you...." And when the traffic cleared, i got out and hit the gas, passing that fucker cause i was kinda pissed.

Anyways, that was my story, do you guys ever have problems like that?
This is my first time having that problem, usually people are smart enough to let me out so they can get in since im kinda taking up the entrance.

If he was mad that you were taking up the entrance, he probably should've let you out... it's not like you were sitting there for fun!

The Autozone down the street from me has the worst driveway ever. It's all scarred up from cars hitting it... it's worse than a speedbump... and for me, it's a left to get in there. Even my GTP hits (though that mf'er is low in stock form... blown shocks don't help matters either...)

My biggest issue is people that get on my ass when I'm stopped on a hill. I have a light flywheel and a 6 puck clutch. It's easy to stall or peel out on a hill when I'm trying not to roll into some fucknut that's 6" off my ass. I usually choose to peel out, but I could get a ticket for doing that! I'm always afraid that they'll start to move forward as soon as my brake lights go off, and a slight rollback will get me a scarred bumper. My failing brake master cylinder (now fixed) made it even more fun... got to incorporate the e-brake into the mix!

i have this problem too..im lowering my car in a week too so ill have to do this for sure then. my muffler is pretty low and i dont want to drag it so i go on angles over speed bumps and go on angles into driveways that are steep (up or down). some people get mad when i go really slow into a driveway right off the street and they have to slow down, but hey it beats paying a lot of money for a new exhaust system. if you ask me id say screw em they can wait

yeah, at most entrances to shops,shopping centers,some railcrossings, hell with my car dam near everywhere I drive it. But most people are pretty curteous and let me do whatever. Thats why I stopped driving daily,only to shows or club functions now.

Man, I don't have people getting mad at me. But I did have a funny experience. My beamer high centered on a super steep hill that came out onto a road. I couldn't get enough angle to come out so I just had to floor it and the back went up and down and I managed to peel out over the hump... it was pretty awesome. Haven't looked under the car yet.

dude if my shit was so low that i actually stopped driving it as a daily driver i would kick myself in the ass with a spiked tip boot, whats the use at that point. like you sig says dude, built not bought, but for form not function i guess my shit is built for function I don't take driveways like you guys do (crabwalking) but i do excercise caution, with a slight angle. but otherwise i can bomb over shit with no worries. my shit was put together to WORK!

back on topic that china guy was probably mad that you hogged the driveway entrance due to your own need to be excessively low (thats what he is thinking not me) F*** em right?

my friend is pretty harsh but i went into the opposing lane to make an angled exit and the car behind me went into the proper lane which left me hanging. so she stopped and looked at me and i just went for it but since there was no angle, it damn near ripped the bumper off. this wasnt my car but my friend's 5th gen. he rolls down the window and starts yelling profanity and that she is an old hag with the middle finger of course.

she goes, "you are bad bad bad boys..."

"fuck you you fucking old ass hag!!!" and then we drove away. honda society was kinda alarmed by our presence since our car reeked of marijuana.

my car isnt that low so it takes me the same amount of time to angle out compared to just going straight down.

sometimes a car is waiting to turn into the plaza and i'm in there way but they wait and i'm out of their sight quickly.

The WORST is ENTERING if there is a car trying to leave the plaza already so you have very limited space to angle into and you have to basically either take the hit and scape or just wait.

Dont sweat it benson, there are polite drivers and there are the rude ones. The best way to piss them off is to act like nothing happened and smile and wave. That pisses them off more :]

Its why I have a legend lip. ABS plastic doesnt care about bumps. My car also isnt stupidly low. I have to slow down for speed bumps, but who doesnt? I see more playaz with big riiiiiiiiiimz take entrances slower than I do. Posers.
