As far as the synths go, I hear you. But it is nice to hear something out of the ordinary once in a while.

Yeah, definitely. I'll take cheezy synths over regurgitated radio pop any day. At least he's bringing something new to the table!

His music has always been cool to me. Only thing though is that people made fun of him, and so he has sort of a comical image to his name.

Maybe he needs to re-invent his image(Perhaps an animated character or something) Perhaps that would be better for his career.
