Debt from CB!

Who in here is in debt from working on their car or putting money into it? If so, how much have you invested in your car?

The only debt I ever incurred for my CB was for my wheels. I bought them with my credit card. Oh, and I owe my mom a little for my H22, because my tranny went out before I had saved everything I needed... no use in replacing or repairing the tranny when I was gonna swap, so I rushed the swap! We rolled that into what I'll be repaying her when I sell my house, though... since I borrowed a bit from her for a downpayment (she's getting a HEALTHY amount of interest when I sell, so I don't see it as anything but a business transaction.)

lets just say i cleared my savings once an maxed out my credit card twice lmfao...............but all is good now thats when i was young an dumb buying alot of shit i didnt need

I am not really in debt cause I only do things (mods, maintance ) when I have the money ..


I stoped counting what I had in it after 5600.00 I figure someone where around 8k in it .

plus I will be sinking a lot of money in it soon so who knows lol

Yeah, if you spend the cash outright, it's not debt. It's much better that way. You might want that $500 JDM doohicky today, but in 3 months, when you're still paying for it, you might not have the money... Credit card debt, and any debt associated with a car... is bad debt.

bought my cb a year ago for one grand and still paying it off. thats how poor i am lol. but hopfully by the end of this year it will be paid off woot!

I took 3 years to pay mine off. $3500 owed to my stepfather. Felt good to write that final check!

only debt i had for my CB was the 3 years of payments i had to make for it when i bought it in 1993.

I had payments on my cb when I 1st got it but thats been payed off a long time ago. I never spend anything but straight out cash money on my cb, if I didnt have the extra cash I wouldnt buy new mods(thats why my bodykit was in m apartment for over a year befre getting installed and painted)

im at atleast $6000 total wit my debt. between buyin it and fixxin it plus the couple grand in mods and shit.

I owe 3000 on the credit card. It was mainly the CB but there's also 2 grand that's from my trip to Australia and gas. I used to be at 5 000. Took it down then up again when I stopped working too much and now back at 3 000. School is starting though fuck and I need books that are worth about 400$ plus a Laptop damn it! :'(

well I WAS in debt about 700 dollars b/c I had to pay for my Head Gasket and a stupid Honda diag. fee that got me nowhere, but then I went to the Casino one night in mid July and hit the jackpot in the dollar slots. I won $1250, my debt is now in my past
