actually the '90-'93 accords have a much better chassis than the civics do. its stiffer than the civic's. the main reason why the accords stand up in accidents better than civics.

Did you listen to the video? It says even a modern car would not of done much better. A 90-93 accord is still pretty much a death trap compared to a modern car (in a side on accident) . Same as a civic.
