That verifies my point...the way he worded it was almost like he was saying the Civic is a bad choice in a car where as the Accord is.

I own an Accord and occasionally drive my girlfriends car: a 98 Civic, never been in accident (knock on wood) but I know for a fact that every car can suffer the same fate as the one in the video.

to my knowledge, the accord was specifically made as a family car. dont you think the body of the car would be made stronger than most to protect the occupants? maybe im wrong. idk. eithwer that or my opinion. doesnt mean im stupid. you walking void

i'd rather have drive a light car that crumples than it be a sollid chassis when it hits something heaverier like a semi or suv.

is that the whole point of design of small cars? crumples zones?

Terrance, the civic was made as a family car, too.

It's not exactly a rocket, is it? LOL.

but yea.i had a 92 hatch .thank god it didn't get wrecked
What would you know about a longgggg time ago? You've been here for 8 months!

And yeah, 60mph, t-boned by a 2 ton SUV that hits the soft cabin area... ANY car will meet that fate. The Civic is a small, light, and old design (the one there), so newer ones may be a little better... but not much. I bet my Grand Prix would look the same after that sort of impact.

the civic got wrecked because it got hit by a big ass SUV at 60mph, on the side. Come On common sense!!! and like many other people said "it would have been the same for the accord"... or any other 18 year old small car.
