What kind of muffler is this?

I just got this muffler on trade, and the tip design is quite a bit different than what ive seen.







think its worth putting on my accord? my current muffler is very loud and 4yrs old. getting raspy and i hate raspy, lol

Looks ugly, and If its straight thru (it looks if so) its probably just as loud.

it says R1 Racing Sport

and yeah its straight thru, but mine is a greddy knock off. this one has no bottle neck b4 the tip.

It'll probably be loud (straight through CAN be quiet...)

Those blisters at the end will probably act as a silencer, though they'll also provide restriction.

Find a shop to weld it on cheaply. You already don't like what you have, so give it a shot! What's the worst that could happen... you STILL won't like your exhaust.

You can get away w/a straight through muffler on a newer car but our cars basically have no baffling or muffling whatsoever

R-1 was a company years back, they made guages, cans, lights, etc. its gonna be loud I used to sell em.
