Should I trade my car for his??

I like the looks of it. I'd keep the CB7, but I'm quite biased!

The thought of a RHD Silvia is pretty cool, though.

They aren't really great cars. People love them because they're cheap and have potential... but they're basically Japan's Mustang. I've never driven one myself, so I'm not speaking from my own experience, but I've heard a lot of people say that the build quality is very flimsy. The suspension design is also pretty lousy. When talking about putting the underguts of a 240sx on my 3rd gen to make it RWD, I had a guy on 3geez... who owned BOTH a 3G and a 240sx... tell me that the Accord's suspension is far superior.


Regardless of car preference, I would be wary of getting someone else's project. My CB7 is my daily driver. I put 1200 miles a week on it. However, there are a TON of things wrong with that thing!

I am a little wary of taking on someone else's project, but he is willing to take on my project and although I think my project is reliable, anything can happen. As for the suspension it is upgraded to tein coilovers which is a pretty good upgrade.

I'm thinking you should keep yours. Something about that car and everything he's done to it makes me think the car isn't very reliable. Not that 240s are reliable anyway.

Just think, everyone gets those cars because they want to learn to drift, and that means it's probably been driven hard a lot. Or at least driving poorly by someone learning to drive hard on their car. Ya know? I could be wrong, but just looking at the car makes me paranoid that it's about to drop the driveshaft as soon as you get 'er home.

hell no man you know why? Cause your cb7 is dedicated to your dad 1945- 2005. Your cb7 has sentimental value. Real proper dedicated to your pops oh BTW R.I.P.

I dont think you should trade at all because your car is dedicated to your pops and that is your car because you built it. Also, if you insist on getting a 240 get the S14 and if its an import you want go all out and find an S15.

240sx is the new honda civic IMO. everyone is getting them and posing as a "drifter"

Honestly that car isn't very unique. When I get a car or go after a car I want it to have character. Of course speed and handling are fun too, I know my accord was just a POS in the corner of Meineke Car Care until I bought it and fixed it up... kinda .

Your car screams with character. I've looked at your modifications list and you have 66! that's amazing from interior to turbo charging. I'd keep your ride.

Thanks for all the replies and votes. I am going to see the car tomorrow, but my standards are high because my car does have a lot of sentimental value, but I am really thinking on a new project and the Silvia fits the bill...I'll keep you guys updated on what happens tomorrow.
