My sister has the base rsx and that K20 motor can take 87 octane according to the drivers manual. Driveability wise, I can't tell the difference in acceleration. It's the weakest K-series motor and doesn't have the aggressive v-tec profile but more of a economy v-tec.

I was surprised when I learned this too because i knew the EP3 has the same motor and I thought 91was mandatory but it's not.

Usually when you pre pay you just give them the money and select the grade at the pump. The person doesnt do it for you he just activates the pump. Anyway that sucks you should press charges.

Same here....but I guess he was paying cash. They have cash prepay near the pump at Arco....I never go there since their gas is cheap shit but yea....

when you prepay you still dont choose your gas til you get to the pump....atleast thats how it always works when i do it..

This is a crazy story. Once they are arrested, I would get back the money for the damage caused as well as the gas, plus pain a suffering. You can get the police report and file an insurance claim with his or her insurance company. Sorry to hear about the misfortune.
