I just had to share my latest blessing with my cb7tuner fam.
I was just notified of my acceptance into an apprenticeship at the Local #5 for plumbing and I start in 2 weeks. You may think that that's not much to share but here's the cool part. Only 30 applicants are accepted into the program each year and I was #20 on the list. The list is approximately 200 applicants long with some people on there for a couple of years and I got in on my first attempt. It's a five year program that starts at $16/hr for the first year and it goes up from there. It may not seem like alot especially because I currently bill $20/hr for my admin services but am only getting 15 hrs a week because the contracts aren't coming in like before so the money is sporadic at best. I'm really excited about this and will be able to write my own ticket from there.
The funny thing is I don't have much mechanical experience aside from what I've learned from alot of you guys here (Deev, look for a bigjoe donation in the next coupla weeks
