I don't think there's anything wrong with this either... If he was the seller and was advertising it then he would be breaking the rules but now he was just sharing with us something he found on eBay. There is no transaction of any kind going on...

Alright, its time for a partial ban on EBAY links.
Any links to auctions that arent yours, like for example, if you come across a cool auction that you think everybody will like, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. Chances are that most people from here who would be interested in it have already found it, and are watching it. When you post links to rare or hard to find items, every lazy person on the site will start bidding on it and the price will skyrocket for those few people who actually went out of their way to hunt it down. Any of these types of ebay links that I find will be immediately deleted the moment I find them. I'm not going to get angry at people, this isn't really an offense so you won't get banned or anything... just don't expect the thread to be there next time you check for it. People who repeatedly post links of this sort will be reminded of this new rule via PM.
I guess its kind of survival of the fittest, you need to know how to search ebay to find the good stuff.
Now, NOT ALL ebay links are going to be immediately deleted - if you are selling some of YOUR OWN PARTS, you can post links to them in here, that's fine. Just be sure to make it clear that the ebay link(s) that you are posting are your own, not just items you found while browsing.
I know this is going to make a lot of people happy. Now for all of you find ebay link threads before I do (I cant be on here 24/7) do not yell at the person who posted it, just send them to this thread and ask if they would kindly delete their own thread ('edit post' for the first post, and the delete option is up top). If they don't do anything about it, it's not your place to get on their case. I'll catch it soon and take care of it.
Link removal/deletion will be done at the discretion of the moderators/administrator.
Sound good people?

The rules clearly state that unless you are the seller, there is no posting of ebay links anywhere for any reason. And the reason is in the post above by chlovnldca.
Try reading next time before making ignorant statements and passing along wrong information to newbs.
