Red Bull Air Race.....how SICK is this?

I just thought I'd let everyone know that this Air Race is on TV, for me in AZ, its FSN, Fox Sports Net. But DAMN! 10G's in an Airplane? That's so cool.

I think its going on in San Diego, so for you lucky Cali guy's....go check it out.

That shit is taped. The race in San Diego took place May 4-5. I wanted to go, but it was a busy weekend for me.

I watched it yesterday, the premiere of the San Diego race. The Detroit one should come on next Sunday, and then the rest of the season after that.

Very badass sport. I am going to try and do it someday if I can figure out how to fund it. Those guys are all super good aerobatic pilots, but hey, they all learned it somewhere.

Also, like G-man said, there is a tape delay, and you usually can't just walk in anyway. They are typically PACKED well in advance.

I think I am going to start attending the ones around the southwest next year though. There are two. San Diego, and then one out in the desert somewhere.

Apparently, they got rid of the one in the desert, and replaced it with Detroit. But at least there are still two in the states.
