Are we allowed to bash?

what if they want criticism? I mean, i want everybody's opinion about my car.... i want feed back... not "Oh papi! looks good, keep up the good work" when they infact think it looks much worse... i dont know.. i'm staying out of this... but i sit on the fence... yes, bashing is bad and there should be no tolerance for excessive, pointless slamming--- but opinions are welcome in my opinion; reguardless if they are nice or not....


Example :

Good example of opinion- "Hey dude, nice car, the spoiler doesnt strike my fancy- i wouldnt ever put it on my car, but each to his own. Keep it up!"

Bad example of opinion - "Hey dude, what an ugly fucking spoiler. Your a stupid fucking ricer... go die. "

Both examples convey the viewers opinion, but in two different ways.


You guys are saying "If you dont have anything nice to say then exit the thread" i dont really agree with that... this is a forum for goodness' sake... but i do agree unnecessary slamming is not to be tolerated. my 2 cents

True story...but the hilarity of flaming rice is a great way to get your stress out. In todays economy, god knows we're more stressed then normal.

So your idea of a good stress reliever is making fun of someone who has a different style than you while making them possibly feel like shit and leave this forum because they think we're a bunch of jerks?

I'd b willing to bet that at one time or another every member on here could have been called a ricer at one point. But like they said above...to each their own.

I totally agree. It's one thing to say, " I don't really like your body kit, neon or wing,..." whatever it may be. Versus: " OMFG that wing is hideous, your car looks like a rice cooker "
