Leaving for the ALMS!

In a couple hours Val and myself will be on the road to Lime Rock Park, CT for the 2008 American Le Mans Series race weekend! Two days of racing, and we're camping in the infield!



I also just found out there is a huge NSX meet there every year, with over 50 NSXs. They get to do a parade lap on Saturday, sponsered by Acura.



I'm sure i'll be back with a million pictures on Sunday.

Yeah ALMS is awesome. I go every year to ALMS at Mid-Ohio Raceway and now Belle Isle in Detroit. Last years Belle Isle race was sweet.

Make sure to get some team flags or promotional stuff.

shit man. i was planning on going with my gf... but some shit came out..
$70 for tickets on a two day event its not bad at all...
i always want to go to a race wether is alms or grand gt or the koni challange.... hopefully i may attend any of those races in the future.

We jsut got back and it was the most amazing thing I've ever done. It blows disney right out of the water....

I've never been so close to so many amazing cars.

The highlights

A GT crashed and was rebuilt in less than 12 hours but couldn't race because they couldn't find a sway bar

I licked a Le Mans car

I saw 100+ Porches, 100+ Corvettes, 20+ NSX's, 2 DB8's, 1 DBs, 10+ Ford GT's, a dozen different Lotus's, 20 Ferrari's and That was just in the parking lot.

I almost got run over by a Ferrari

I was able to lay on the start/finish line.

I got a shirt signed by all of the Acura, porsche, and audi drivers.

Eric took close to 400 pictures so once he goes through and organizes them will be posted.
