    WRX vs RSX-S (narrowed)

So I'm sure some of you saw my last post, well I junked the idea of the tC. So it's up to the RSX-S and WRX.

I live in New England so the winters can be rough and I love to snowboard so I'm always on snowy roads.. plus the 4drs for passengers and more room and of course the awd is awesome.

The styling on the rsx-s seems much nicer to me, it seems easier to get parts for, has leather interior and a moon roof which is nice and more reliabilty/better gas mileage.

If I went with the rsx-s I'd probably just do basic bolt-ons, same with the wrx except I beleive the wrx responds better to the bolts-ons.

I could get a limited wrx that has leather/moon roof but that is out of my price range.. the 06 models also have 4piston calipers and some other upgrades but those are out of my price range as well.

I'm leaning heavily towards the wrx at this point.. the only things really bothering me is the styling/interior and reliability.

Not to mention Acura/Honda is so easy to work on.. especially if there is a problem with something.. it's usually cheap to fix.

I also keep reading story's of people who have had both and love the wrx..

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.. thanks!

I've driven the rsx type s.

I really wasn't impressed at all. The interior was nice, but I doubt your buying a WRX or RSX type s for the interior!

You're not JDM until you have a car built in ohio with tons of bolt ons from ebay.

Not mad, but comparing it to a tC is ludicrous.

Get the WRX. 03-05 model. NO 02's and if you can get an 06+ then get it.

start with this, but some sort of exhaust and tuning chip, sti intercooler and a nice turbo timer and automatic boost controller. tune it. get snow tires and throw it on for winter.

get coil overs and sway bars if you like to do mtn running.

They make every part known to man for the WRX.

                  http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/?id=2304

                  Cobb Stage 2 for $1875...53 hp / 68 ft-lb for a turboback and retune.

The 06-07 has the 2.5L, which puts down about 20 more whp than the earlier 2.0L even though they're both rated at exactly the same power.

People have run 13.99 in a stock 06.

I'm not a fan of the bug eyes so I want at least an 04.. it's hard to find a later year for my price range tho.. the 06 4 caliper disc brakes and everything is just so appealing.. but too much

I said it in your last thread and ill say it in this one....the motor in the RSX-s makes it worth it....not to mention itll get better gas mileage....dunno bout the interior and everything else as all ive really experienced is the K20 in my civic.....but im gonna assume the interior will be nicer....and thats saying something cuz I find the sis interior really nice

The only WRX i would buy would be an STi....and im not willing to pay as much for a used car as I paid for my brand new civic si
